About Jacob Rhein — Atlanta Legal Malpractice Attorney
I’m Jacob Rhein, and I founded RheinLaw LLC with a single purpose: to hold negligent attorneys accountable and to recover what their clients lost.
Legal malpractice is one of the most demanding areas of civil litigation. To win, I have to prove not only that your former attorney failed you — I have to prove your original case would have succeeded if it had been handled properly. That’s the “case within a case,” and it’s what I’ve spent my career mastering.
My Practice
I am a solo practitioner. That is a deliberate choice. When you retain me, you are retaining me — not a firm that will pass your file to a junior associate. I review every case personally, return every call, and appear at every hearing. My clients know who is fighting for them.
My practice is focused entirely on legal malpractice. I do not handle general personal injury, divorce, criminal defense, or business disputes. That focus means deeper expertise, more targeted strategy, and better outcomes for clients who have already been failed by one attorney and cannot afford to be failed again.
Background
I have been licensed to practice law in Georgia for over 20 years. Over the course of my career I have represented clients in cases involving negligent handling of personal injury claims, unauthorized settlements, missed statutes of limitations, attorney fraud, criminal defense malpractice, and many other forms of attorney misconduct. I have successfully litigated cases against solo practitioners, regional firms, and large national law firms.
I am a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
My Commitment to You
If you come to me, it means someone who was supposed to be on your side let you down. I take that seriously. I will give you an honest assessment of your case — including if I don’t think it is viable — and I will never string you along. If I take your case, I fight it all the way.
Most legal malpractice cases are handled on a contingency fee basis. My initial consultation is always free and always confidential.
